What led Bengaluru woman CEO to kill her son, Goa Police reveals murder intent | Goa News
Superintendent of police (North Goa) Nidhin Valsan said that motive behind the murder is yet to be established.“The exact cause of death will be ascertained after the post-mortem is conducted,” Valsan said.
The father of the boy is currently in Indonesia and Goa police has asked him to visit Calangute police station. Valsan said that divorce proceeding was in progress between Seth and her husband.
Aimangala police station in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district has arrested Seth and after obtaining transit remand from local court, Goa police arrived in Goa with the accused.
Seth was booked by Goa police on Monday for allegedly murdering her four-year-old son at a Candolim service apartment in North Goa’s coastal belt.
Police said after committing the murder, Suchana left for Bengaluru in a taxi with the body of her son in a bag.
The incident came to light when the staff went to clean the room after Suchana, who had checked into room number 404 of the service apartment at Hotel Sol Banyan Grande at Candolim on Saturday with her 4-year-old son, checked out on Monday morning.
One of the staff noticed a blood stain in the room, and he immediately alerted the hotel management. At around 11am, the hotel management contacted Calangute police.
North Goa superintendent of police Nidhin Valsan said when police reached the hotel and checked the CCTV footage, they found that she had left the room without her son. Police found it suspicious and questioned the hotel staff.
The hotel staff said Suchana wanted to go by road and wanted a taxi to travel to Bengaluru. They informed police that they had told her that a taxi would be expensive and she should travel by air. But Suchana insisted on a taxi and the staff then arranged a local taxi to take her to Bengaluru.
