Mysuru: Adichunchanagiri Mutt seer Nirmalanandanatha Swami on Sunday stated that the delay in the construction of the Viveka Smaraka (Viveka Memorial) is a loss to the youth as it is aimed at nurturing their personality.
While attending the valedictory of the ninth annual convention of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhavaprachara Parishat, he stated that the works of the memorial should be completed at the earliest, as it will help the youths to inculcate various values in their life.
“Today tall buildings which destroy the personality of youths are coming up easily. Obstacles are created to delay the construction of the Viveka memorial. Swami Vivekananda is an inspiration for youths forever. This memorial should shape the future of our youths,” he said.
He stated that the preaching of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Vivekananda is relevant forever. “We need to follow their words which help us to realise the purpose of our life,” the seer said.
Swami Prakashaananda of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Ranebennur, stated that the preaching of great people should reach every household. “These preachings should inspire us. We need to take forward the preachings to ensure that everyone can make their life meaningful,” he said.
Swami Muktidananda, president of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, and other seers participated in the event.
