Ullu Gang: Five of ‘ullu’ gang arrested for stealing tractors in Noida | Noida News
Noida: Five members of the ‘ullu’ gang were arrested from Sector 54 on Sunday, police said. The gang would allegedly steal tractor trolleys from the Delhi-NCR area. They would recce and then steal the tractors at night, cops added.
Police said, the accused were identified as Dilshaad alias Dilshan alias Bihari, Anisuddin alias Anis, Sahazaad, Varun and Bhupendra, all residents of Meerut.Two others identified as Sansar and Salman, believed to be the leaders of the gang, are currently absconding.
ADCP Manish Mishra said that on December 7 a resident of Sector 24 reported his tractor-trolley stolen from outside his house. During the investigation cops received information that the accused were coming to the area to steal vehicles, leading to their arrests.
“During interrogation, the accused said that the group is known by the name of ullu gang as they used to steal vehicles at night and also did recce in night only. While they used to stay at home during the day time. More investigation revealed that the accused used to steal vehicles and then handed them over to Bhupendra and Varun. Then these two used to deal with customers and scrap dealers,” the ADCP said.
The police recovered eight tractors and three country-made pistols with live cartridges. The accused were booked under IPC Section 379 (theft) and sections of Arms act at the Sector 24 police station.

A resident of Punjab was booked for forgery and fraud after he was found using a tractors registration number on his car. Gurjinder Singh, a resident of Fatehgarh Sahib, was caught at a checkpost in Chandigarh. The accused, driving a car with registration number HR-07-G-9318, was stopped by head constable Satyawan. Upon checking the vehicle’s record on the e-challan portal, it was discovered that the registration number actually belongs to a tractor. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC.
