Stitches, A New Horror Manga Anthology Illustrated By Junji Ito, Is Up For Preorder On Amazon

History is full of dream teams, from the Young Bucks in wrestling to Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro collaborating on a film, but when it comes to illustrated horror, it doesn’t get any bigger than writer Hirokatsu Kihara and artist Junji Ito. The heavyweights of horror have joined forces for a new collection of nine spine-tingling stories in Stitches, and it’s available to preorder on Amazon right now.

“A tumor shaped like a man’s face slowly moves across a woman’s body,” the synopsis for Stitches reads. “The sea shoots glowing balls into the sky, much to the distress of beachgoers. And a girl dressed up for a holiday has no eyes, no nose, nothing–her face is a total blank.”

This creepy collection of short stories will be released on March 21, and it has been slightly discounted from $18 to $16.20. If you’re familiar with Kihara, you know just how unsettling the writer’s stories can be, while Ito’s body of work has inspired new generations of readers and artists across the decades. If you’re looking for something to pass the time with and you don’t mind losing out on a good night’s rest, Amazon has plenty of anti-sleep reading material available right now.

You can grab a big discount on several of Ito’s most famous works, including deluxe hardcover editions of Uzumaki, Tomie, and Gyo.
