Surat: Valsad police carried out checking at the District Science Centre in Dharampur, Valsad following information of a threat mail to carry out a blast at a science centre in Kolkata.
“Officials from the science centre in Dharampur contacted us and alerted us about a threat received at a science centre in Kolkata. Though there was no threat issued to the science centre in Dharampur, but as a precautionary measure we carried out the checking,” said a police officer.Police cordoned the entire road connecting the science centre and did not allow vehicle movement. Along with the science centre the adjoining areas were also thoroughly examined. Police teams arrived with a bomb disposal squad and dog squad to carry out checks on Friday. TNN

Students can check their results on the official website at www.sofworld.org by logging in with their roll numbers. The scorecard will display the student’s name, standard/class, school name, parent name, scores achieved, international rank, zone/state rank, school rank, and qualifying status for Level 2. Those who qualify for Level 2 will receive scholarships and rewards for their academic excellence. Cut-offs for NSO and IMO can be referred to on the official website.
