It’s going to be “an exciting year” for Roka London. So the mid-market bags brand has hired London agency Stellar PR to handle its UK and US push.

The agency will be working alongside the Roka team “to strengthen traditional and social media presence both here and in the US, where the brand is known as ORI London.

The signing coincides with the launch of new bag styles in strong colourways for SS24. So the Stellar team is tasked “with product placements and creating media noise around the new collection”, alongside promoting the company’s strong sustainability credentials as B Corp Certified organisation membership.

One of first tasks is to support Roka on its recently launched collaboration with London’s Natural History Museum with Stellar working with media and key influencers “with an outdoor and adventurous streak”.

Louisa Ham, managing director of Stellar, said: “Roka is a brand that fits well with our ethos. We strive on working with premium brands with purposes rooted in improving the environment.

“It is an exciting time for the brand, both here and in the US, and we are glad to be playing a key role in increasing awareness of, not only, their stunning and vibrant bags and apparel, but of the principles behind them.”

Peter Gough, COO at Roka/ORI added: “We were looking for an agency with experience in premium brands alongside a keen awareness of sustainable practices. The team at Stellar are full of enthusiasm for what we are about and we look forward to the year ahead, as we continue to launch new and exciting products and partnerships.”
