Ranchi’s Namo Book Bank Helped Over 80k Students In 3 Yrs: Seth | Ranchi News
Ranchi: BJP MP from Ranchi, Sanjay Seth, on Monday claimed that NaMo Book Bank set up by him amid the Covid-19 pandemic has helped over 80,000 students, mostly from under-privileged background, setting a new benchmark for a functioning community library.
Seth was speaking to the media in the presence of Ranchi MLA CP Singh here on Monday on the third anniversary of the book bank located at his Argora office.“The bank today has over 2.75 lakh books donated by over 19,000 families/people. Various books kept here helped students prepare for different exams and pursue studies, many of whom couldn’t afford to buy books due to poverty.”
He said students and job aspirants from Gumla, Khunti, Lohardaga among others who live in the city, have availed free service from this bank.
