The partnership will initially go live via eight stores nationwide (Manchester, London, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Sheffield), with plans to expand to 30 stores by the end of this year.

As part of this, Just Eat customers will have access to over 80 eyewear designs to choose from, available with prescription lenses and cases. And to celebrate the new partnership Pop Specs is offering exclusive orange eyewear (Just Eat’s house colour), only available to order via Just Eat.

“Just Eat furthers Pop Specs mission to supply a seamless experience when it comes to ordering prescription eyewear, as customers are now able to order new eyewear from the comfort of their own homes”, the delivery firm said.

Daniel Barnes, founder of Pop Specs, added: “As the biggest food delivery company in the UK, Just Eat has changed the way people order takeaways and groceries. Pop Specs has been doing the same within the eyewear industry by providing customers a unique eyewear experience, with the spectacles being prescription ready in just 20 minutes. Now, working with Just Eat, we’re able to expand our offer to reach customers at home.”
