A new series of NHS charges have been announced for the coming year.
Dentistry is one of the few NHS services where you have to pay a contribution towards the cost of your care.
There are three standard charges for NHS dental treatment. These charges will take effect from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.

Examination, diagnosis, x-rays, scale & polish. When you need to see a dentist immediately, usually for extreme pain, swelling or excessive bleeding.
