Mangaluru: The commissioner of Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (Muda) has been accused of sexually harassing a woman staff member. Police commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that in a complaint filed on Friday, the woman has accused Muda commissioner Mansoor Ali of harassing her sexually, mentally and physically. A case has been registered against the accused on Saturday.
A case under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 354A (punishment for sexual harassment) of IPC has been registered against the accused. The case is being investigated, the police commissioner said. TNN
