Kanpur: Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) on Monday freed its 2150 square metre of land worth Rs 7.50 crore in Shujaatganj Scheme and started construction of a boundary there.
According to SB Rai, public relations officer, the enforcement department in compliance with the directions passed by KDA vice-chairman Vishak G Iyer removed the encroachment in plot nos.260, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 142, 170, 247 , 171, 145, 257, 253, 256, 172, 252, 254 in Block B of Shujaatganj scheme. Some unscrupulous persons tried to interfere in the construction of the boundary wall. The enforcement squad with the help of local police removed the encroachment and freed their land.
RK Pandey, executive engineer, Ajay Kumar, special officer, Ritesh Kumar Singh, tehsildar Sadar were present during the drive, Rai said. Source link
