POSITION TITLE: Deputy Manager/Manager Content & Performance Marketing
BUSINESS UNIT: Marketing
REPORTING TO: Sr. Manager – Digital & Performance Marketing
LOCATION : Bangalore Head Office
Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish)-
To lead, manage content marketing & performance marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive brand visibility, customer engagement deliver on the revenue for company’s online sales, referral, cross sell and direct marketing channels.
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)-
Content Marketing-
Craft interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across all digital assets of the company (internal or external) social media channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, speeches, and other content as needed.
Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person. Aligning the said activities for each buyer persona.
Lead research to drive thought leadership that fuels white papers, webinars, press, awareness, and a brand reputation as a thought leader.
Propose right web content, working with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative.
Work with product marketing and sales, develop content strategies and materials to support the sales cycle.
Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications.
Collaborate with product marketing to develop industry and role-based messaging.
Develop and maintain editorial calendars and content project plans; provide regular updates to stakeholders, and determine metrics for ensuring effectiveness of marketing content.
Implement new tools and processes for effective creation and measurement of content.
Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns.
Conducting ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness.
Developing standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real time implementation of content strategies.
Performance Marketing-
Increase qualified traffic to the site
Drive revenue, achieve targeted ROI and maintain positive KPI trends
Manage the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines including researching, growing and optimizing keyword portfolios and bid management strategies and refining campaigns through ad copy tests, landing pages, negative keywords
Plan email-marketing calendar and executions in close cooperation with Brand Marketing
Work with the Brand Marketing team to create aligned consumer communications across all channels (onsite, social, mobile, stores) and to ensure both strong commercial and consistent brand messages.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)-
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in SEO/SEM
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Experience with SEM reporting & Analytics Prior experience in Insurance domain is an added advantage
Personal Attributes & Competencies –
Excellent proficiency in English
Should have very good experience in working with MS Office tools
Should be a team player and be open to take ownership and initiatives
