Kolkata: Jadavpur University sent a compliance report to governor-chancellor C V Ananda Bose saying interim VC Buddhadeb Sau has neither signed any file nor attended the VC’s office for a week. Sources said another report will be sent, highlighting the administrative problems that they faced without a signatory authority.
Raj Bhavan wrote to JU on Thursday, stating that Sau was “no more the authorized VC”.The letter asked pro-VC Amitava Datta and registrar Snehamanju Basu to ensure Sau did not exercise any unauthorized duty and also asked for a compliance report.
