By Far boosts circularity in link-up with Nold

Contemporary designer footwear and accessories brand By Far said it’s making “a significant stride towards circularity” with the launch of By Far x Nold.

Powered by sustainability tech company Nold (which stands for new+old), the dedicated space introduces a “visionary platform” for users to both sell and purchase pre-loved and sample By Far items, “embodying the brand’s unwavering commitment to the circular fashion movement”.

With the launch, the brand aims to “provide a second life to its products, promote longevity, and address the fashion industry’s substantial ecological footprint”.

Users can list By Far products by scanning the label or searching for their items, and download a pre-paid shipping label. Following a successful sale, they can opt to receive 85% of the item’s value in their bank account or, if they choose to receive a store credit for byfar.com, they will receive 100% of the sale price of the sold item.

Initially, the website will facilitate the purchase of authenticated By Far items marked by Nold upon launch, providing customers with access to pre-loved fashion with guaranteed authenticity. The complete listing feature enabling users to sell their items will follow in early this year, it said.

Sabina Gyosheva, co-founder and CEO of By Far, said: “By venturing into the pre-loved market, we hope to unleash a wave of circularity, breathing life into pre-loved fashion pieces and rendering them timeless treasures once more,” adding that the platform is “set to revolutionise the fashion landscape and transform the brand into the powerful emblem of the change we envision.”
