Content Warning is another co-op spooky game that has taken over Steam. In Content Warning, up to four people can venture down into the Old World in search of horrific monsters. Unlike other horror games, you won’t be avoiding monsters, but searching for them in order to make Spook Tube videos. The scarier the footage, the more views you and your friends will get. More views means more money, which means you can get better equipment to improve the quality of your videos.
While the base camera is the only camera in the game, you can get better lighting and sound. Better flashlights will let you get clearer shots of the horrors of the Old World, making for better footage. Microphones can gather clearer sound from longer distances than just the camera. There are also 16 different emotes, which can add more character and personality to your videos, while also increasing the view count.
Not every idea is meant to improve your video, with some of them more focused on you surviving your trip into the Old World. The Flare and Party Popper can scare off some monsters, while the Goo Ball and Shock Stick can slow down more aggressive monsters. The Hugger can heal injured teammates and the Defibrillator can bring back someone who has been fully knocked out. Since all of the goals in Content Warning are focused on higher view counts, you can spend your hard earned money without worry.
