Former reality TV star and now widely-followed fashion influencer Molly-Mae Hague has now added solo designer to her ever-widening remit, unveiling plans for a soon-to-launch contemporary womenswear brand.
Called ‘Maebe’, the label aims to introduce an “elevated style” with “accessible luxury for a new generation”, thanks to her “deep understanding of evolving style and a desire to create a collection for the modern woman”.
The former PrettyLittleThing UK and EU creative director will launch Maebe exclusively online at maebe.co.uk on 29 September and it’s expected to include a mix of elevated basics, blazers, separates, statement coats and eveningwear.
And while all this will be based around ‘accessible luxury’ as mentioned, it will come without a price tag to match (under £100 it’s rumoured).
Anticipation of the launch is growing with Hague’s new Instagram account, @Maebestore, amassing 80,000 followers before the official date release was officially made.
An official representative for Hague also told The Sun newspaper: “Molly has been working on Maebe for a few years now and she is so proud to finally announce it.
“This is something she is truly passionate about. She has an exciting few weeks ahead and can’t wait for you to all see what she has been working on.”
The fashion line’s official launch statement said: “Get ready for Maebe. The UK’s most-loved influencer, Molly-Mae Hague, is stepping into a new role: founder and visionary of a contemporary womenswear brand poised to make elevated style an accessible luxury for a new generation”.
