Foreign coin exchange | Oral Health Foundation
Do you have a drawer full of Dirhams or Dollars or have some left-over Euros from your last Estonia trip.
Donating them is a great way to get rid of them and help a great cause.
What you need
- Someone happy to walk to the bank to get to get the money changed.
How to run a foreign coin exchange
- Let everyone know that you are collecting unused foreign currency so they can tell their friends and family.
- Flyers, posters and social media are great ways to spread the word.
- Setup your collection bucket in a prominent place.
- Get looking in those old jeans, bits and bobs drawer and down the back of the sofa for those unwanted coins.
- Throw your foreign coins in the bucket.
- Take lots of pictures and share them with us on social media.
- After a while count up your takings, many banks will let you donate foreign money to charity or you can get it exchanged.
- Shout about it on social media so our wider community can hear about your fantastic efforts.
