Bike Rammed By Truck: Fatal Bike Accident: Man Rammed by Truck at Subhash Chowk Underpass | Gurgaon News
GURGAON: A 43-year-old resident of Delhi died in an accident when his bike was hit by a truck at Subhash Chowk underpass around 7.40am on Monday. Navin Kumar Saini was from Delhi’s Rampura and was heading towards his office in Sector 49. Police said the truck driver fled the spot soon after the accident. Passersby rushed him to General Hospital in Sector 10.An FIR was registered at the Sadar police station on Monday.
Navin’s younger brother, Sachin Kumar, registered a complaint at the Sadar police station on Monday. In his complaint, Sachin stated that Navin was riding his motorbike, bearing the registration number DL 10-577947, when an unidentified vehicle changed lanes without indicating at Subhash Chowk Underpass.
“The truck, moving ahead of Navin, did not indicate about the turn, which led to the collision between the two vehicles. Passersby took my brother to the hospital, and the police were called. I was informed about the accident around 8:30am, after which I rushed to the hospital,” stated Sachin.
Navin sustained severe injuries on his head and arms that led to heavy bleeding. He was admitted to the General hospital in Sector 10, where doctors declared him dead. His motorbike also suffered damages in the accident.
“The negligent behaviour of the unknown driver resulted in the tragic demise of my brother. I have requested the police to take necessary legal action against the driver,” Sachin added.
After treatment at the hospital, Navin’s body was sent to the district mortuary for an autopsy. Later, his family arrived to identify him.
