Woman Killed: Woman ‘killed’ by hubby – Patna News | Patna News



Patna: A 58-year-old man lodged an FIR at Didarganj police station in Patna on Sunday, alleging that his daughter was killed by her husband and in-laws over dowry who also burned her body, police said on Monday. SHO Rajiv Ranjan Singh said police were probing the case from all angles. “Sunil Ram, a resident of Pabheri Mor of Dhanrua, alleged in the FIR that his daughter Ruby Devi (25) was murdered over dowry by her husband and in-laws at Fatehpur village,” he said.The SHO added the victim’s father received a call around 3pm on Sunday from his son-in-law Nilesh Ram and told that Ruby had died. “When Sunil reached the house of his daughter’s in-laws, none was present there. He was later told that Ruby’s body was cremated,” the SHO said.

Man held for killing wife 3 yrs ago, in-laws on the run
A man named Ravikant Parashar was arrested at Ghaziabad railway station for killing his wife, Anju, in Badalpur, Greater Noida, in 2020. Ravikant, along with his brother Vikrant and brother-in-law Mahendra Sharma, had an argument with Anju while drinking alcohol. They beat her to death, smashing her head on a wall. Anjus body was found in a drain near a railway track, and the case was initially registered against unknown persons. Ravikant was arrested after his father-in-law filed a complaint.
