Raffles and tombolas
Another old favourite. Why not ask local businesses to donate special prizes and get people to buy tickets with the chance of winning.
You can always include prizes that don’t cost you anything, for example, a week using the best office car park space or a free day of annual leave (run that one by the boss first).
What you need
Prizes or experiences to raffle off.
Raffle tickets.
A collection box or tin.
A smartphone or camera.
Steps to organise your raffle
Ask people of organisations for prizes which they are happy to raffle off.
Promote your raffle through posters, flyers and social media.
Sell tickets for the raffle.
Draw winning raffle tickets and give the winners their prizes.
Donate the funds you have raised via our donation page.
