Urgent Hiring for Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis.
Key management: includes opening & closing of shift in presence.
Cash Management: includes issuing of daily floats, handling caf imprest, shift banking, shortage control etc.
Monitors and controls on daily basis:
a) Quality levels of product and service
b) Customer satisfaction
c) Merchandising and marketing
d) Operating costs
e) Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire area under his purview.
f) Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas.
Conducts daily briefing & Sets up targets/ goals for the shift, makes constant effort to achieve the same.
Check for staff grooming/ discipline.
Conducts under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager/ Area Manager, such functions as employee orientation, staff training, on the job performance, coaching and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Establishes and maintains the record systems to include but not limited to:
a) Spot Check file
b) Activities file
c) File on customer comments form
d) Compliance register
e) Complimentary record
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management with 3 years Experience at the supervisory level
EXPERIENCE: 5 years
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Proficiency in using MS Office
Team Building Skills
Creative thinker with high degree of integrity and discipline
Strong knowledge of consumer/cultural trends
Interpersonal and negotiating skills
Well developed relationship building skills;
Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Self motivation and drive towards winning and a can do attitude
Fluency in English
