Jaisalmer: Spa Damaged in Jaisalmer; Kidnapped Woman Found – Barmer Police Investigation | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: Three youths vandalised a spa in Kalji ka Palia area of Barmer in an inebriated condition, opened fire and abducted a woman employee late on Sunday night after their demand for sex with her was rebuffed by the spa owner, said police. The youths were enraged when the spa owner told them that only massage services were offered there.
The youths then abducted a woman who was cooking there.The spa is situated on Uttarlai Road at RIICO Industrial Area in Barmer. Police sprang into action and started cordoning various sites in the town. A police team found the woman at Baytu, 65 km away from Barmer, at 4am and brought her to Barmer. Her statements were recorded under Section 164 of CrPC on Monday. The woman, a resident of Bihar, named one Om Prakash Jat, a resident of Nagana, and two other youths as the perpetrators, said officials. The mobile phone of one of the youths fell as they left the spa.
Barmer SP Digant Anand said DSP Anand Purohit rushed to the spot with a police team soon after the spa owner informed police.
“Police teams searched for the culprits and checked CCTV footages at toll plazas. A mobile phone and a fired cartridge found at the spot were seized. The accused have been identified, and they will be caught soon. Whether the woman was raped or not will be known after the medical report comes. We are investigating the case,” he added. TNN
