HYDERABAD: Income Tax Investigation unit Hyderabad conducted searches on pharmaceutical company Gland Chemicals Private Limited in several locations in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Searches were conducted in the company’s office in Jubilee Hills, residences of directors, and manufacturing facilities suspected of tax evasion.
B N Malleswara Rao is the Managing Director of the company, and there are five other directors on which the Income Tax Investigation unit has conducted searches.
Gland Chemicals was incorporated in 1974 and is used in the making of anti-cancer drugs, anticoagulants, neuromuscular blocking segments, and sedative and antiplatelet segments.
