WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, February 18, 2025 — LawGuard has introduced a new and innovative individual legal expense insurance product to the personal lines marketplace, creating opportunities for agencies and carriers to offer LawGuard Legal Expense Insurance to their clients.
You may have already heard of legal expense insurance, as it has existed in the United States for years. However, it has primarily been offered only to employees of large Fortune 500 companies through group policies. Legal expense insurance is becoming more of a need than a want for every American these days. Attorneys charge an average of $340 per hour, and legal issues can quickly lead to unexpectedly high costs. As a result, more people are seeking legal expense insurance to safeguard themselves against this risk.
LawGuard is a low-cost, guaranteed issue personal lines product that covers attorney fees for over 70 of the most common legal risks.
